The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is spread throughout six buildings on campus:
You can view a University of Waterloo Campus Map.
ECE makes its home in The Centre for Environmental and Information Technology (CEIT) building. The CEIT has a 150-seat lecture theatre and 19 specialized laboratories for teaching and research. It also houses the Earth Sciences Museum, which is open to the public. The museum is extremely popular with school tours; elementary school students come to learn about fossils and dinosaurs.

The Faculty of Engineering is housed in five buildings: Douglas Wright Engineering, Engineering 2, Engineering 3, J.R. Coutts Engineering Lecture Hall, and Carl A. Pollock Hall (as seen in this photo). The School of Architecture is located on UW's Cambridge campus. CPH is the hub of student life in Engineering. On the first floor, you find POETS-the student pub and lounge, the Engineering Coffee and Doughnut shop (C&D) and the offices of the Engineering Society. In DWE, E2, and E3 there are computer labs, classrooms, and other lab facilities for the study of robotics, graphics, and heavy machinery.

Named for the former Premier of Ontario, the Davis Centre (DC) was designed by the same individual who designed the downtown Toronto Eaton Centre. The building itself is intended to look like the motherboard of a computer. The DC contains two lecture halls, each with a seating capacity of 250, a food court, and a library to support the disciplines of Engineering, Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science. The offices of the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science are located on the upper floors of the DC.

Over the last 45 years, Waterloo's co-operative education program has grown into the largest in the world, with more than 3,000 employers and 11,000 students participating. On a typical interview day, close to 100 employers are on campus recruiting students and graduates through our Co-operative Education and Career Services activities.
The William M. Tatham Centre for Co-operative Education and Career Services is home to Waterloo's signature program. It has 102 interview rooms, lockers and change rooms for students, wireless network access, and a dedicated employer lounge.
