Depending on the admission status and successful completed number of course; it is possible for participants in the program to qualify for three professional development tracks as described below:
The trainees admitted in this non-degree track shall receive a Certificate of Completion from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, after successfully completing a course.
The successful completion of six courses (out of a choice of eighteen courses offered in Electric Power Engineering) are required for the Graduate Diploma in Electric Power Engineering. All courses within the program are offered in an e-learning, multi-media environment that is based on the "learn while you work" philosophy.
The trainees must be admitted in this MEng degree track and upon successful completion of nine (9) courses with a minimum course average of 65% and a total cumulative average of 70%, shall be eligible to receive an MEng in Electric Power Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo.
