New Faces: Siddharth Garg

Siddharth Garg joined the ECE Department on September 15th 2010. Prior to this, he was a post-doctoral research associate at Carnegie Mellon University, where he also received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2009. His Ph.D. thesis at CMU, which won the A.G. Jordan Award for outstanding thesis contributions, proposed new design and analysis methodologies for variation-tolerant digital circuits in nanometer CMOS technologies. Prior to his time at CMU, Siddharth received an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

Siddharth is excited to join the ECE Department at Waterloo because of the exceptional quality and diversity of research pursued by the faculty members and the outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in the department.
