The first step to solving any problem is to determine who you should talk to. This page lists many of the common issues which may cause concern at some point during a student's undergraduate career.
For any of the following issues, contact the appropriate individual or department listed.
This page divides all issues into six major categories. Each category lists a number of related issues together with a primary point-of-contact and possibly an associated web site.
At the end of each table is a secondary point-of-contact; a person you should contact if the primary contact was not able to successfully deal with the issue in a satisfactory and timely manner. If the secondary contact has not dealt with the issue, again, in a timely manner, a tertiary contact person is listed at the bottom of this page.
If you cannot determine how to deal with your issue on this page, please contact the Undergraduate Advisor and Coordinator.
Please remember that, while we try to deal with all issues as quickly as possible, poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on ours. Attempts to contact people out-of-order will simply result in you being referred back to the appropriate point of contact, which can only result in a further delay in any appropriate response.
Until you start your 2A Academic Term, you are considered to be a first-year student. Questions should be directed to the First-Year Engineering Office. If you are experiencing academic difficulties, you should contact Karen Dyck who will either help you or refer you to the appropriate person.

If the Class Representative has talked to the Laboratory Instructor and, after an appropriate amount of time, the issue has not been dealt with in a satisfactory manner, contact the Theme Area Laboratory Coordinator: Theme Area A contains any ECE ?6? or ECE ?8? course, Theme Area B contains any ECE ?2? or ECE ?5? course, and Theme Area C contains any ECE ?3?, ECE ?4?, or ECE ?7? course.
Only if the issue has not been resolved with the Theme Area Laboratory Coordinator should the Class Representative contact the Laboratory Director.
