July 1978 - May 1980, October. 1980 - Aug. 1982: I worked as a consultant for Rural Electrification Authority of Egypt (REA) to develop new techniques for reactive power control on distribution feeders for maximum loss reduction.
April 1977 - June 1978: I worked as an Electrical Engineer for Trench Electric Ltd., Toronto, Canada. I was charged with the following projects:
- Development of a new design of a large air core power reactor for high voltage withstands capabilities.
- Design of a grounding system for polymer enclosures for polymer enclosures for high voltage equipment.
- System analysis for transient overvoltages due to the insertion of a capacitor-reactor bank in the electric power network.
