Research
I work in the area of nonlinear feedback control systems. I am particularly interested in motion control problems and their application to electro-mechanical systems. A list of selected publications is available on this site.
My other interests include methods for stabilizing sets in the state-space of a system, synchronization problems, output feedback control and robotics.
I am actively seeking talented master's and doctoral students who are interested in control theory and robotics.
Teaching
I generally teach couses related to systems and control. I am teaching ECE 682: Multivariable Control Systems in Fall 2024. Here is a list of courses that I have taught .
Graduate Students
A list of current and past graduate students.
Waterloo RoboHub
The Waterloo RoboHub is a state-of-the-art robotics research, testing, and training facility.
Meeting on System and Control Theory
The Ninth Meeting on Systems and Control Theory is scheduled for May 3-5, 2023.
