Differences Between Matlab and Octave

Some diffferences:
- In Octave, you cannot use end inside an index.
E.g., A(1, 3:end) does not work, you have to
do n = size(A,2); A(1, 3:n);.
- Octave uses unix style cut and paste: as soon as you highlight
something, it is copied into the buffer. To paste, either use the
centre mouse button or both left and right mouse buttons at the
same time.
