Welcome to...

So that's my family in front of their house in Mississauga, Ontario (a westerly neighbour city to Toronto). I'm the one on the left with the skew tie (the glasses are different now). Behind me is my mom, Malik. Beside me is my sister, Safiya. Behind her is my father, Amjad, and at the extreme right is my brother Usman. He runs his own web page, called NetJobs. If you are job hunting, or employee hunting, go take a look there. I've moved since, and there are no pictures of the new place. Why have I moved? Well, why don't you ask me?

Speaking of job hunting, want to see my resume? Check it out to see a capsule of what I've done so far. In it you'll also see Syed Computing Services, my consulting business. Please e-mail me to learn about the personalized services I offer.

New! Neat and nifty animated GIFs that I've scammed from various places. Check 'em out!

Wondering where the Eid sighting rant went? Follow your nose!

Whack me!So, I sit around and twiddle my thumbs waiting for my computer to catch up with me. Man, do I need RAM. Gotta get my taxes done too. If you know of a good and affordable accountant in the GTA, please let me know. Public Enemy kicks.

Here's some places I've found interesting over the last while:

  • Poyser Place - one of my best friends from school - there's a lot of people overlap, so check out his page for addresses (why repeat things?)
  • The Chankstore - typefaces, fonts, and general mayhem - really worth checking out
  • Font Fairy - free fonts on the web
  • Phyllis' Backgrounds and other goodies - this is where the alphabet blocks came from - she's really nice
  • Dr. Jihad! - can't say enough good stuff about this guy - IQRA!
  • Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada Homepage

  • I could just ask you to click here to mail me, but think of the personal satisfaction you'll receive if you do it the old-fashioned way, firing up your mailer and sending the milk of human kindness my way at neman@sunee.uwaterloo.ca. For the record, I graduated from this fine institution, the University of Waterloo in 1993 from Civil (Environmental) Engineering, with an option in Water Resources. Now you can finally sleep at night.

Thanks for indulging me. Take care, all the best, and I hope to hear from you soon.
