Welcome to the Summer 2010 home page for the second course of the three software engineering capstone project courses, offered jointly by the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
Instructor: Prof. Derek Rayside
Course OverviewThe overall goal of the course is to introduce students to software design activities and processes (see course descriptions: CS446, ECE452, SE464). Lectures are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 1:30pm in MC2034. Staff will also be available for Project Discussion time at 3:30pm on Mondays, also in MC2034. Students also must develop a project (in 5 assignments). The goal is to design and present a software system, which can be the VoIP project or any other system of students' choice (as long as approved by TAs).
The project will be managed mostly with UW-ACE, so all material for lectures, tutorials and assignments, as well as your submissions and discussions will be handled there.
