As a sessional faculty, I teach the Embedded Systems course at the Electrical Computer Engineering Department, McMaster University.

As a partial-load faculty, I teach the Reconfigurable Systems Principles, Embedded Programming Principles, Handware and Software Interfacing, Principles of Telecommunication Systems, and RF and Networking Systems and Components courses at Conestoga College.

I have served my community as IEEE EMB Chapter Chair (since 2011) and the IEEE Kitchener and Waterloo Section Chair in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, the Kitchener and Waterloo Section was awarded the (IEEE Region 7) Exemplary Medium-Section Award and recognized for the outstanding Section Membership Retention by IEEE MGA in 2018. I also served on the steering committee for the ANTEM 2018.

My research interests are in

  • Design and development of emerging imaging systems for security and biomedical applications,
  • Software and hardware co-design for imaging systems,
  • Image reconstruction algorithem at millimeter-wave and sub-millimeter-wave frequency range.
