Detailed project proposal. Must contain the following:
- Names of group members (no more than 2 participants for undergraduates. Graduate students have to do the projects individually.)
- IDs
- Date
- Title
- Abstract
(What security problem are you solving? Why is it interesting? How is
it different previous work solving the same problem? 3-5 lines)
- Problem Statement
- Detailed proposal (2-5 pages): Think through the proposal
from both the wow factor and end-to-end security point of view. You get
points for both creativity and detailed analysis. Think about usability
as well. Add a architecture diagram if possible.
- Detailed system design
- Detailed implementation plan
- Detailed test plan
- Division of labor between the members of the project team
- Appropriate references to papers, books, websites, tools,...
- Any reported attempt to construct attacks against
governmental or non-governmental entities is a violation of
university policies with potential serious consequences. Such a project
proposal/implementation will immediately be disqualified and reported
to university administrators.
