Chapter 21
Trust
Trust does not always mean that you have faith that another party will do something good for you. Personally, I trust my cat to make a mess. I also trust my 2-year-old to avoid eating any green-looking food. Trust is less about faith and more about the ability to predict the behavior of the other party. My cat and my 2-year-old may not behave the way I want, but they do behave consistently such that I can have trust in them and plan around their predicted behavior.
In this module we will be learning about the concept of trust and how it relates to other aspects of security and privacy such as ecommerce and privacy policies.
