The section on statistics should be split between the new section on Charts and Graphs and the current section.
All technical presentations require the speaker to present data and other text-based information; however the presentation of raw data is not always the most appropriate technique—indeed, it is best not to display raw data during a presentation. In most cases, it is preferable to display data using charts or graphs, but if data is to be displayed, there are numerous means of doing so:
Significant pages of data may be summarized with a single memorable image or a single statistic. This will both make the data accessible to the audience and allow the audience to maintain their focus on the speaker.
